Le Mans

Steve McQueen's passion project — a near-plotless, purist recreation of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, shot with real racing footage and a fleet of genuine competition cars. McQueen wanted to make the definitive racing film and essentially staged a real endurance race just to capture it, headlined by his Gulf-liveried Porsche 917K.
